White Coat Ghetto - The White Coat Ghetto is a family oriented and very safe neighborhood very close to the University Rochester Medical Center and Strong Memorial Hospital. Students, residents, interns and families have found their home here. Many stay for the entire medical school and residency.
Play Ground - In the center of the
White Coat Ghetto there is a popular play ground and on a Sunday afternnon many of the children from the
neighborhood can be seen here. Looking to live in the White Coat Ghetto the three streets closest
to the Hospital are probably the most desirable.
Jogging - Winter and summer students jog in the white coat ghetto. It is a totally safe and very
friendly neighborhood where many University of Rochester and other students have been living over the years.
